CJC enjoyed a good rollup to the 2008 XMAS Party at the Folkus Room on Sunday 7th Dec.
Annie and the Armadillos provided a great afternoon of smooth jazz and favorites - enjoyed by all.

JAZZ Albury Wodonga, formerly The Border Jazz Club, is a non profit organization providing high quality national, international and local jazz performances at our own smoke free, dedicated jazz venue in Wodonga, 'the JAZZ basement'.
JAZZ Albury Wodonga is run by local musicians and lovers of good music. It comprises a small committee of people who donate their time and are dedicated to providing a broad selection of jazz to our local community.
Our Mission:
  • Provide high quality jazz performances to the communities of Wodonga and surrounding districts;
  • Encourage a wider listening audience via marketing and awareness campaigns;
  • Provide a focus for music students in the region to receive guidance in their development via educational opportunities with the presence of professional musicians;
  • Provide a positive attraction to those in metropolitan centers intending to visit the area and to support regional tourism.


Sydney Jazz Club

The SJC website has been created to provide information for members and site visitors regarding Jazz activities provided by the club and to be a guide for Jazz lovers to events occuring each month, in and around the Sydney metropolitan area.

Newcastle & Hunter Jazz CLub

The Newcastle and Hunter Jazz Club aims to foster live Jazz music in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley area. The club holds regular jazz band nights at the Merewether RSL, usually on the first Saturday of each month. A comprehensive newsletter is distributed to members monthly. Other social activities are held throughout the year - for details of these activities click on our calendar link. Our main activity for the year, The Newcastle Jazz Festival, is held on the last weekend in August. It is regarded as one of the best Jazz Festivals in Australia.


Jazz Action Society

We are a non-profit organisation with a mission to promote Australian Jazz and Jazz in Australia.
Basically we would like to see more musicians working.


Illawarra Jazz Club

Throughout the year, we run various events such as our Annual "Easterfest" Jazz Festival which is held on the long weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday. We conduct fundraising trivia nights, dinner dances, concerts, our annual Ball, weekend trips and we finish each year with an outstanding Christmas party.

Wagga Wagga Jazz Club

The mission of Wagga Wagga Jazz Inc is to be an ongoing contributor to the promotion and development of jazz in Australia through presentation, practice and promotion of local, interstate and international exponents of jazz, from the traditional to the contemporary. Through the annual Wagga Wagga Jazz and Blues Festival, Wagga Wagga Jazz Inc. provides the opportunity for local, interstate and international jazz musicians to share in the practice, performance and appreciation of jazz in all its forms with jazz enthusiasts of all ages.


Victorian Jazz Club

The Victorian Jazz Club was established in 1968 to promote jazz and provide a club for musicians to play their own style of music. The Club is a non-profit organisation and was incorporated in 1989. The VJC operates a regular Saturday night venue (7.30pm-10.30pm) except for some public holidays when we advertise that we are closed.

Brisbane Jazz Club

Since it was formed in 1972 to 'promote awareness and participation in jazz of all styles', the Brisbane Jazz Club has provided opportunities for both amateur and professional jazz musicians to meet and play together on a regular basis. The Club's great location on the banks of the Brisbane River provides an ideal setting for members and their visitors to hear the best of local, interstate, and international jazz artists at their regular sessions. The Brisbane Jazz Club's energetic committee is in constant touch with what's happening in Australian jazz and whenever an artiste or band is ‘coming through on tour’ they're sure to be asked to play at the BJC. One of the very few jazz clubs anywhere in the world to have its own dedicated premises, the Brisbane Jazz Club is a very sociable place too, with a licensed bar, so that members and guests can enjoy a drink whilst listening or dancing to their favourite music.


Perth Jazz Society

Founded in 1973 the Perth Jazz Society is a non-profit incorporated association. Its aims and objectives are to embolden the artist, enhance the artform and facilitate the performance. It has had a long and distinguished history in presenting jazz of the highest quality through its weekly Monday night performances, which, for twenty seven years were based at the Hyde Park Hotel.

Our Club aims to present various types of jazz to our members and the public and also to encourage and promote young jazz musicians. Gigs are held monthly in the convivial atmosphere of the Royal Oak Hotel on the corner of Brisbane and Tamar Streets, Launceston. Other jazz activities and events are also enjoyed by our members.
